We regret that we will not be able to open for the 2021-2022 season. Circumstances and the capital required have prevented opening as we had planned. We will still be in the area scouting out trails and possible rides that we might offer in the future. We hope that you enjoy your time in Quartzsite and keep us in mind for future years.

Plan your ride

We developed this page to help you plan your ride. We only take reservations one week in advance. Otherwise, tickets are sold on a first-come-first-served basis at our ticket office. You must purchase your tickets at least 24 hours in advance. While visiting us, we will explain your ride options and answer any questions you may have.

Everyone with your party must be present at our ticket office to sign waivers. You must be at least 18 years of age or older and have a valid driver’s license to drive a UTV. All participants over the age of 18 must have a valid ID. Our guided tours are structured to be fun, scenic, and exploratory. Our tours vary in length but average 3-4 hours and include a few 15 to 20-minute stops, where you can get out, stretch, explore and take pictures. We also have options for half-day and full-day rides.

Our tour guides have years of industry experience, and safety is our top priority. During your ride, you will experience dusty desert trails and rugged mountain terrain. You’ll enjoy spectacular views and nature’s beauty from the comfort of a fully automatic, four-wheel-drive UTV.

What to bring with you

We recommend you bring a light jacket or hoodie with you during the crisp morning and evening rides. Tennis shoes or boots are required. No open-toe shoes are allowed. Shorts and short-sleeves are just fine, but the desert can be an unkind place with drastic weather changes, so plan accordingly.

A hat, sunscreen, and a good pair of sunglasses are also recommended. We provide safety goggles if you want to wear them; otherwise, your glasses are just fine. Finally, be sure to pack extra water and snacks as needed. We recommend several (3-4) bottles of water per person.

Before the ride

After you purchase tickets, you will meet with your guide. They will go over the rules you are expected to follow. Then, they will give you a hands-on demonstration on how to operate the machine. To ensure the safety of our guests and our guides, we have a No Horse Play Policy. We will not tolerate anyone operating their machine in a manner that may create an unsafe condition for you or those around you.

During the Ride

Once you leave the staging area, you’ll be at the mercy of the desert—no running water, no restrooms, no shade, no gas stations, etc. We try to be prepared for the unexpected; however, it’s impossible to be prepared for everything. For example, if something breaks on the trail or in the event of an emergency, it could take an hour or more to get you the parts or help that’s needed. So please help us out and use caution in operating your machines. Keep yourself hydrated and let your guide know immediately if any problems arise.

After the Ride

Finally, when you return from your ride, let us know about your experience because we use your feedback to improve our options and services. If you had a fantastic adventure, let your guide know they’ve done a great job. Gratuity is not included but is always appreciated. Let friends and family know you had a great time and review us on Facebook or Google.

We hope this section helps you plan your ride. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.
